I'm a classically trained software engineer who loves to code, whether for work or fun. I also like to design systems, although that pleasure comes more rarely.
I have over 10 years of experience working with Geophysical and Geological data applications. My work involves both doing my own coding and leading teams to improve how we handle and visualize subsurface data.
Outside of coding, I enjoy learning about physics, education, politics, and public health. I believe that people are mostly good, we're all just a happy coincidence in the universe, time is pretty important, and AI should be open-source.
